Lloyd E. Sisk, 64 of Linton, Indiana passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 11, 2014. He was born on October 5, 1949 in Linton, Indiana to Elmer and Ethel Louise (Raymer) Sisk. Lloyd married Arretta Joyce Knowles on September 23, 1985.

Lloyd was employed as a coal miner for 20 years with Peabody Coal Co. and then as a dispatcher for 23 years with the Linton Police Department. He was a member of UMWA Peabody Hawthorne Mine, BPO Elks #866, Goldwing Club and FOP #105 of Linton.

Survivors include: one step-son, John E. Hubble of Vincennes; four step-daughters, Kellie M. Chambers of Bloomington, Jeannie A. Lawson and Beth L. Bennett, both of Linton and Shannon M. Myngheer (Kenneth) Bilskie of Vincennes; eleven step-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; one brother, David Sisk of Linton; sister-in-law, Jean Souders of Linton and cousins, Joan Delosh, Kathy Lundy and Judy Witt, all of Tennessee.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Arretta Sisk; step-daughter, Donna Miller and brother-in-law, Alfred Souders.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Lloyd's memory to Riley Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday, September 15 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, September 14 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
