Logan Botsford, 13, of Linton, went to be with Jesus on Monday, June 24, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 24, 1999 in Vincennes, Indiana to Daniel B. and Dawn R. (Herndon) Botsford of Linton, IN.

Logan attended Saron United Church of Christ and was a student at Linton-Stockton Jr. High School. He loved playing video games, computers, watching "The Price is Right" and "Let's Make a Deal" and enjoyed counting money. Logan has faced many obstacles in his life, yet has been an inspiration to others with his upbeat attitude and the courage and bravery he has shown to others during his long battle. He was so giving, caring and was always sharing what he had with others. This young man, who always had a smile on his face no matter what, will be greatly missed by all who knew him and those whose hearts he touched.

Logan is survived by: his parents, Daniel (Jana) Botsford and Dawn Botsford; his brother, Arik Botsford and sister, Madison Cunningham; maternal grandparents, Don and June Herndon; his paternal grandparents, Conrad and Carmen Botsford, all of Linton; paternal step-grandmother, Myra Torrance of Missouri and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to The Make-A-Wish Foundation in Logan's memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26 and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
