Elsie 'Lorraine' Busby, 75, of Linton, Indiana passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on July 11, 1939 in Richmond, Virginia to George and Mary (Bowling) Brittain. Lorraine became the wife of Harold L. Busby on August 11, 1956.

Lorraine worked for 5 years at Keller Aluminum Co. and 25 years in the deli at Angell's Food Center before she retired in 2002. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, flowers, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include: her husband, Harold L. Busby; son: Frank Busby; daughter, Teresa Busby, all of Linton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hagon (Jane) Britton and Kenneth (Nancy) Britton, both of Virginia and one sister, Irene Foltz of Washington, DC.

Lorraine was preceded in death by: her parents; one daughter, Debra L. (Busby) Fiscus and two sisters, Dicie Hudler and Juanita Taylor.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 4 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Rev. Dick Smith and Ted Fulford officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 3 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
