Margaret Francis Meek, 85, of Linton, IN, passed away Wednesday, November, 7, 2007, at Glenburn Home in Linton, IN. Born in Osborn, Missouri, on February 24, 1922, she was the daughter of Robert and Leone (Cleaver) Masner. She married Kenneth Meek and they had three sons. She retired from the State of Missouri Department of Social Services in June of 1987. She was a member of the Maysville United Methodist Church in Missouri, an associate member of the Lakeland Methodist Church in Florida and an auxiliary member of the VFW.

Survivors include her three sons: Terry (Jan) Meek of Linton, Barry (Gaylynn) Meek of Bloomington and Kevin (Kim) Meek of Winter Haven, Florida; six grandchildren: Tim, Christa, Amber, Kalen, Kollin and Kain; and six great-grandchildren: Isabel, Grant, Truman, Charis, Brynn and Carson.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Meek.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date at Maysville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Maysville, MO. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to Greene County Foundation for the Jenny Shaw Meek Scholarship. The Meek family has entrusted Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with the arrangements.
