Margaret K. Willoughby, 67, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Glenburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Linton. She was born on November 6, 1943, in Connersville, Indiana to Sylas and Mary (Murdock) McCraney. She was later to be married to Homer Willoughby.
Margaret was a graduate of Vincennes University with a degree in food service management, a licensed beautician and was employed at Crane Naval Warfare Center.
Survivors include her two children: daughter, Plynia "Pixie" (Jerry) Welty of Franklin, Indiana; one son, Joshua (Charmian) McCraney of Linton; one brother, Terry (Billie Joan) McCraney of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Patricia (Robert) Thompson of Jacksonville, FL; half-sister, Chrissy McCraney of Worthington. She is also survived by grandchildren, Quade and Lacey Lash, Shawn Murdock and Joshua (Toby) Cox all of Linton.
Margaret was preceded in death by companion, William McCatty, parents and her husband, Homer.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the funeral home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Funeral services will begin at 8 PM on Monday November 15, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, Indiana with Pastor Kenny Pingleton officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 PM until time of service on Monday November 15, 2010 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, Indiana.
