Marietta Fitzpatrick, 88, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan, Indiana. She was born in Linton, Indiana on February 3, 1921, to Fragarant and Hazel (Chafey) Edwards. On December 24, 1938, she married Harry F. "Jack" Fitzpatrick.

Marietta was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Peoria, Illinois.

Surviving is her son, David Bruce Fitzpatrick of Oro Valley, AZ.

Marietta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, on July 20, 2009 and one brother, Jack Edwards.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, October 11, 2009 and from 9 AM until the hour of service on Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 12, 2009, with Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
