Marilyn J. Dailey, 84, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with her family surrounding her, on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born on March 19, 1935 in Greene County, Indiana to Edgar and Pearl (Spurgeon) Goodman. Marilyn became Mrs. Alfred A. Dailey on December 25, 1953.

Marilyn was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family meant everything to her, and she cherished time spent with them. Marilyn enjoyed working puzzles and cooking.

Family left to cherish the memory of Marilyn include: one son, Dan (Gayla Vorek) Dailey; one daughter, Diana Dailey, both of Linton; grandchildren, Kalynn (Aaron) Wilson and Kamryn Dailey; great-grandson, Kolson Wilson; two brothers, Larry Joe Goodman of Linton and Ott E. (Elizabeth) Goodman of Nashville, TN.

Marilyn was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Alfred Dailey; sister, Delores Hogue; brothers, Dick, Don, Howard and Ronald Goodman.

A Graveside Service to honor the life of Marilyn will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Jeff Fulk officiating.

There will be no public visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Saron United Church of Christ Youth Group.
