Marilyn J. Terhune, 75, of Linton, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at Lyons Health and Living Center. She was born on July 3, 1933, in Greene Co., Indiana, to Emmett 'Smock' and Marjorie (Hardisty) Cline. Shortly after birth, her father passed away and her mother Marjorie married Roscoe 'Rocky' Padgett who raised her. Marilyn married Harley 'Bud' Terhune in 1958, and he passed in 1982, after which she married Lewis W. Goodman in 1991, and he passed in 1999.

She was a member of the Linton First Christian Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Thelma M. Kent and one granddaughter, Dani Kent both of Linton; she is also survived by one sister, Nancy N. Miller and one brother, John R. (Deloris) Padgett both of Linton.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Bud Terhune and Lewis Goodman.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 23, 2009, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with Warren Shake officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
