Mary Lois Allen, 91, of Elnora, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. Born in Odon, IN, on August 26, 1916, she was the daughter of Leonard and Mary Dossie (Graham) Malone. On March 15, 1936, she married Ralph Eugene Allen. He preceded her in death May 24, 1984.

Mary Lois was a homemaker and member of the Elnora Methodist Church. She and Mr. Allen both were graduates of Odon High School.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jane (Mark) Webster of Columbus, Donna S. Dixon of Vincennes and one son David R. (Deanna) Allen of Odon, IN. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Mary Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, George L. Malone and one sister, Ruth Dix.

Friends may call at Elnora Methodist Church from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, June 28, 2008, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM. Rev. Bob Frields will officiate and interment will follow at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.
