Mary Alberta Bell, 87, of Lyons, IN, passed away Mon., Oct. 24, 2011, at Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons, IN. She was born on Nov. 10, 1923, in Gosport, IN, to Albert and Ora (Langley) Stevens.

Alberta was a homemaker. She was baptized and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include two daughters: Naoma (Norman) LeDune of Linton and Mary (Terry) Blanton of Worthington; one son, William E. Bell and companion, Jane Weaver of Linton; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters: Dora Jean Carson and Micki Angleton, 1 great grandchild, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thurs., Oct. 27, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Interment will follow at the Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, IN.

Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM on Thurs., Oct. 27, 2011 at the funeral home.
