LINTON- Mary A. Wetzel, age 83, of Linton formally of Canal Fulton, OH passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, 4:40 AM at the Linton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on October 24, 1922, to Walter and Grace (Knouse) Eckenrode. She married Leo Henry Wetzel (deceased) on October 2, 1943. Mary worked at the Superior Meats in Massillon, OH for 12 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, enjoyed travel, oil paint, crafts, camping, and fishing. Mary is survived by three sons; Richard (Janet) Wetzel of Linton, IN, Tim (Katie) Wetzel of Lenior City TN, and Jeff (Janie) Wetzel of Massillon, OH, one daughter, Peggy Wetzel of Cannon Lake, TX, and one brother, Robert Eckenrode of North Canton, OH. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Father Raymond Paul will officiate and burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, North Canton, OH.
