May Mary Nail, 82, of Linton, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Linton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Linton on September 11, 1931 to Thomas and Virginia (Vandeneede) Shoptaw. May married the love of her life, Bobby G. Nail on November 16, 1974.

May worked as a factory worker at Keller Aluminum and Sarkas Tarzan before retiring in 1994. She enjoyed walking, fishing, gardening and playing with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband, Bobby G. Nail of Linton; son: Jackie (Sharon) Felker of Midland; daughter: Susan Feutz of Linton; step-son: Randall (Lori) Nail of Linton; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

May was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tommy Shoptaw.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 16 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Chaplain Ken Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM on Monday.
