Michael Alan Cox, 47, of Ellettsville, formerly of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on January 26, 1976, in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of Judith 'Judy' D. (Dudley) and Charles R. Cox of Linton.

Michael enjoyed watching "The Price is Right", swimming in the family pool, quite the observer of his surroundings and McDonald French fries. One of his favorite things to do was going to see Jack Shelton, his buddy for his haircut.

Family left to cherish the memories of Michael include his parents, Charlie and Judy Cox; one brother, R. Bryan (Krista L.) Cox; nephews, Benjamin, Bradyn Cox and niece, Sarah Cox, all of Linton. His Uncle Frank Cox also survives. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bryan and Flossie Dudley, paternal grandparents Frank and Ruth Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM noon on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Mark Messmer officiating. Michael will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
