Michael L. Stremming, 61, of Sandborn, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Fri., Jan. 23, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Moses Lake, WA, on May 7, 1953, to Vivan E. and Dorothy (Gentry) Stremming.  Michael married Leah R. Phillips on May 1, 1982.

Michael was employed at the GE plant in Linton early in his life and presently served as a Social Worker at the Glenburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Home.  He was a member of the Indian Prairie Baptist Church and enjoyed writing music and singing.  Michael was a true friend and special in the lives of all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Leah (Phillips) Stremming; son, Matthew Stremming of Sandborn; mother, Dorothy (Gentry) Stremming; two brothers, Steven Stremming of Indianapolis and R. Brett (Bev) Stremming of Bicknell; two sisters, Elizabeth (Davon) Roudebush of Bloomfield and Kathleen (Pat) Black of Freelandville; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Vivan.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tues., Jan. 27th, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 10:30 AM with Rev. Ed Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in the Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Mon., Jan. 26th, 2015.
