Mildred G. Plummer, 84, of Sandborn, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Mildred was born in Bruceville, Indiana on July 24, 1922 to Leo and Margaret (Phillippe) Hamke. She married James L. Douthitt, Jr (deceased) on May 31, 1941 and Charles Don Plummer (deceased) on February 9, 1975. Mildred worked at GC Murphys in Linton until retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Sandborn Baptist Church. Mildred is survived by two sons; Kurt L. (Cindy) Douthitt of Sandborn, Indiana and Donn E. (Yvonne) Douthitt of Plymouth, MI and one daughter; Sue A. (Brantley) Blythe, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister; Helen Strahley of Shoals, Indiana. Mildred was preceeded in death by her parents, first & second husbands, one daughter; Janice Jackson, son; Joe Douthitt, two sisters, and two brothers. A visitation will be held at Sandborn Baptist Church in Sandborn, Indiana on Saturday, November 18, 2006 from 9:00 until 11:00 CST. AM. The service will be held at Sandborn, Indiana on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00 CST. AM. Burial will follow at the Sandborn, Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana. Memorial contributions are to be made out to the Ketchem Memorial Activity Fund or Sandborn Baptist Church.
