Nancy Nell (Padgett) Miller, 71, of Linton, IN, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Greene County General Hospital. She was born in Greene Co., Indiana to Roscoe D. and Marjorie (Hardesty) Padgett on March 21, 1939. In September of 1960 she married Edward E. Miller and they had four children.

Nancy was a homemaker and dear friend to many.

Surviving are her three daughters, Carol (Stanley) Myers of Bloomfield, Joyce (Jack) Busenburg of Switz City and Dona (Sam) Templeton of Switz City; one son, Dwight (Linda) Word of Bloomfield; Eleven grandchildren, Eddie, Michell, Paul, Casi, Levi, Kyle, Eric, Billy, Brad, Angie and Melissa; Fourteen great-grandchildren, Jessie, Damian, Tarin, Cameron, Tyson, Shoshauna, Kenny, Nate, Hanna, Logan, Melinda, Cammie, Arefell and Hunter. Also surviving is one brother, John (Delores) Padgett of Linton.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Marilyn Terhune.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 and from noon until the hour of the service on Wednesday. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Dan Kemp officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
