Nola Irene Rose, 80, of Linton, IN, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at Glenburn Home in Linton, IN. She was born in Linton on October 11, 1932, to Barney Ellis and Ethel Lenora (Swaggerty) Goodson. Irene married David L. Rose on July 2, 1959.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Janet) Rose and Travis (Carrie) Rose; two daughters, Datona Stewart and Darla (Glen) Damron all of Linton; Eleven grandchildren Bobby (Shea) and Adam Rose; Chris (Angel), Kevin Corns, Amanda (Travis) Dunn; Wendell Stewart; JD Messell; Lenora and Crystal Damron; Logan and Leah Rose, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donetta Denman of Linton and Rosetta Sears of Bedford also survive.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David; a daughter, April Corns and a grandson, Austin Scott Rose; one sister, Louise Spelts, also precedes in death.

Funeral services well be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 26, 2013
at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Rev. Vernon Raines. Burial will follow in the Sandborn Cemetery, Sandborn, IN. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on the same day. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in memory of Irene.

The Rose family has entrusted the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with arrangements.
