Nora A. Morrison, 47, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 1, 2010, at her residence. She was born on August 8, 1962, to Charles Edward and Virginia Rose (Burdine) Morrison. Nora was a homemaker and mother of one daughter.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Mike) LeClere of Jasonville; four grandchildren, Devynn, Brooklynn, Kaelyn, and Keegan LeClere, all of Jasonville; her mother, Virginia Rose Morrison, of Linton; a brother, Jack Morrison of Live Oaks, FL; a sister, Patty Beesley of North Vernon, IN; and a brother, Jim Morrison of Linton, IN.

Nora was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Morrison and a sister, Alice Mae Morrison.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society in Nora's name. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2010, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.

Funeral services will be conducted at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, with Pastor Jerry Ross officiating. Interment will follow at the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
