Norma Fay Callison, 86, of Elnora, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on March 8, 1927 in Elnora to Hollis and Jenny (Young) Edmondson. Norma became the wife of Burke Callison in 1945.

Norma was a member of the Elnora Christian Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, playing cards, quilting and making her own ceramics.

Survivors include: four sons: Steve (Cheryl) Callison of East Moline, IL, Mark (Brenda) Callison of Newburgh, Alan (Deanna) Callison of Elnora, and Brent (Darlene) Callison of Linton; one daughter, Donna Cooksey of Elnora; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and two sisters, Judy Smith of Elnora and Mary Fields of Indianapolis.

Norma was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Burke Callison; one son, Larry Callison; three brothers, Max Edmondson, Wayne Edmondson and Clarence (Te) Edmondson and one sister, Wilma Moore.

For those who wish, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in memory of Norma to Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Richard Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Elnora Fairview Cemetery.

Family and Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 27 and on Friday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
