Norma Louella Elliott, 91, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Autumn Trace in Linton. She was born on July 29,1933, in Linton, Indiana to Jesse R and Lola A. (Thrasher) Alsop.  Norma married her loving husband, Donald M. Elliott, on February 13, 1951.

Norma was a wonderful homemaker and loving mother.  She was a faithful member of the Linton First Christian Church where she played both the piano and the organ.  She was also a member of the Country Corner Home Demonstration Club. Norma enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, however, her favorite times and events were those spent with her family.

Family left to cherish memories of Norma include: two daughters, Debbie L. (Kevin) Francis and Cathy L. (Bret) Hobbs, both of Linton; grandchildren, Kade (Timberly) Puckett, Brandon (Heidi) Puckett, Mandi (Kevin) Johnson, Douglas (Mistey) Francis, Jacob (Hayley) Hobbs, and Logan Hobbs; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Newsom of Jasper. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Donald Elliott, a daughter, Janie B. Elliott, and brothers, Ray, infant Eugene, and Malcolm Alsop.

Funeral services to honor Norma's life will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Douglas Francis officiating. Norma will be laid to rest in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linton First Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
