Norman Richard 'Dick' Risley, age 68, of Lyons formerly of Marco, Indiana passed away Monday, October 16, 2006, 1:35 AM at the Lyons Health & Living Center. He was born January 9, 1938 in Sullivan County, Indiana to Robert and Thelma (Lind) Risley. He married Patsy L. Burch on April 6th, 1958. Dick worked as a construction worker (high line worker) Local 1393 Indy. He was a member of the American Legion Post #479 in Lyons, IN. Dick is survived by one son, John Risley of Marco, Indiana, three daughters; Dixie (John) Smith of Decatur Tennessee, Sherry Stewart of Linton, Indiana, and Bobbi (Jason) Hicks of Henderson, Kentucky, 12 grandchildren; Jaime, Corey, April Lewis; Kala Risley; Stephenie, Samantha, Steven, Sean Stewart; Gage, Brittany, Patrick Monier; Aaron Hicks and also 4 great-grandchildren; Justin, Bradley, Haley Miller; and Autumn Lewis. Dick is also survived by his brother, Ted Risley of Westphalia, Indiana and sister, Barbara (Howard) McCreary of Bedford, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Patsy L. (Burch) Risley August 7, 2006, and infant son; Joseph Leon Risley. Graveside visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Bethel Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana. Rev. Mike Roth will officiate the 2:30 PM graveside service at the Bethel Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana.
