Opie Lee Gage, 30, of Sullivan, IN, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, in Dugger, IN. He was born on January 4, 1982, to Norman L. and Dorcas L. (Ray-Kirkley) Gage. Opie married Erica J. Jerrell on October 11, 2003.

Opie worked as an appliance specialist at Lowes. He attended the Christ Church at Linton. His hobbies included fishing, working on cars, riding 4-wheelers and racing RC cars.

Survivors include his wife: Erica J. Gage of Sullivan; his parents, Norman and Dorcas Gage of Indianapolis; one daughter, Alexa Lynn Gage at home; paternal grandmother, Marietta Gage of Linton; two brothers, Mike Gage of Cloverdale and David (Wendy) Allen of Edinburgh: two sisters, Misty (Bruce) Frazer and Nicole Gage of Indianapolis.

Opie was preceded in death by his grandparents and close friend, Craig Jerrell.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 11:00 AM with James Stone officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 12, 2012, and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday.
