Patty M. Cross, 50, of Sandborn, passed from this life on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at her residence. She was born on December 10, 1962, in Linton, IN, to Perry C. and Lula Bell (Hollifield) Walls. On March 9, 1991, she married Dean L. Cross.

Patty owned and operated Patty's Cleaning Service for 13 years. Her hobbies and interests included: spending quality time with family & friends, camping at the cabin, fishing, gardening, traveling to French Lick, her grandchildren, and riding her Harley.

Survivors include Patty's husband, Dean L. Cross; her mother, Lula Bell Walls of Cass; one son, Jeremy Walls of Sandborn; three daughters: Andrea (Jason) Snow of Linton, April Wright of Jasper, and Nadine (Jayde Leffler) Cross of Sandborn; 8 grandchildren: Jason, Emilee, Jayton, Jasidee, Kaitlynn, Alison, Summer & Jayvn; 3 brothers: Bill (Leslie) Walls of GA; Terry (Mindy) Walls of Mooresville, and Perry Walls of Cass; and three sisters: Phyllis (Greg) Showalter of Indianapolis, Cindy Walls of Elnora, and Judy McManigell of Sullivan.

Patty was preceded in death by her father.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Melvin & Bren Simon Cancer Ctr., 535 Barnhill Drive, 3rd Floor, Rm. 311, Indianapolis, IN 46202-5289.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Bryan Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Sandborn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 20, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Wednesday.
