Pauline Truelove, 102, of Bloomington, passed away January 2nd, 2015, at Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center in Ellettsville. She was born on August 21, 1912, in Linton, Indiana, the daughter of Ocie V. and Grace (Sponsler) Keller. Pauline graduated from Linton-Stockton High School with the class of 1931. On March 22, 1934, Pauline married Ora (Doc) Truelove. He preceded her in death in March of 1964.

Pauline was a member of the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, a 65 year member of the Newberry Order of the Eastern Star, serving as a past Matron and was a 50 year member of the Friendly Neighbors Home Economics Club of Elnora. She served on the Resident's Council and was a 7 year past president during her stay at the nursing home. Pauline and her husband, Doc, were the owners of the Newberry John Deere Farm Implement Dealership from 1942 to 1949 and also owned and operated a farm in Newberry, where they raised turkeys and various crops. In 1966, Pauline moved to Greencastle, after her husband's death, and worked for Dr. J. L. Stamper until 1970. At that time, she moved back to her Greene County farm and lived there until she moved to Bloomington in 1983.

Pauline is survived by: her son, Paul Truelove of Annapolis, Maryland; Son in-law, James McCarter of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Jody & Mark Cowger and Jeff & Darlena McCarter, all of Greencastle and Will & Amy Truelove of Bloomington; three great-grandchildren, Jamie O'Neal and Jeremy Cowger, both of Greencastle, and Eli Truelove of Bloomington; Two great-great grandchildren, Jordon Mahala O'Neal and Cruz Alan Cowger, both of Greencastle; one sister, Grace Lawson of Greenwood and various nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by: her daughter, Jane McCarter; her parents; one sister, Opal Baird and three brothers, Earl, Wayne and Clovis Keller.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Tom Ellsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 5.
