Phyllis M. McKim, 89, of Linton, IN, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was born on January 4, 1922, in Linton, IN, to Harry and Ruby (Shouse) Smith. On April 7, 1947, she married Fred L. McKim.

Phyllis was employed with General Electric in Linton and later work at the Shoe Show. She was a devoted housewife and homemaker to husband, Fred and son, Jerry.

Survivors include her son, Jerry L.(Georgialee) McKim of Lyons, IN; grandchildren, Troy (April) Jerrell of Linton, Kevin Jerrell of Lyons, and Amanda (Jerry) Gallagher of Lyons, IN; great-grandchildren, Kenny, Dreydon, Kade, Shanae, Kyra, Kerra and Olivia.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society and contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Rev. Dick Smith officiating, friends are invited to attend.

The family has entrusted all funeral arrangements with Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN.
