Pollyanna S. Miller, 84, of Linton, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was born on October 23, 1931 in Linton, the daughter of Walter H. 'Doc' and Ida Ingleman Scholl.

Polly was a member of the Linton First United Methodist Church and was a Founding Board Member of the Greene County Foundation. She worked for many years alongside her photographer husband at Frank Miller Studios in Linton.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank E. Miller, to whom she was wed May 28, 1949; her parents; a brother, Walter Scholl and a sister, Sophia Kate Haverly.

Surviving Polly is her daughter Candace Kay and Steven W. Templeton, her grandson, Daniel Paul and Jamie Cox Templeton and her great-granddaughters, Jaidan, Stephanie and Sierra Templeton.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 22, 2016 at Linton First United Methodist Church Chapel with Pastor Michael Irvine and Nyle Reigle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, it was Polly's wish that contributions be made to the Greene County Foundation, 4513 W. St. Hwy. 54, Bloomfield, IN 47424. Envelopes will also be available at the church.
