Obituary

Ray Glenn, 75, of Linton, IN, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Bloomington. He was born on February 8, 1937, in Linton, IN, to Cecil and Martha Dottie (Enochs) Glenn. He married Dixie J. Harrison on May 6, 1967.

Ray was a US Army and Vietnam War Veteran. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Howesville. He worked for 33 years as a laborer at General Electric, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed running his beagles and fishing.

Survivors include: two sons, Timothy (Paula) Glenn of DeRidder, LA and Shawn Glenn of Linton, IN; one daughter, Rhoda (Peter) Rogers; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Amanda and Jason; 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Laurel Glenn of Indianapolis, IN.

Ray was preceded in death by: his wife, Dixie Glenn; his parents; three sisters, Ruby Bennett, JoAnna Smith and Beaulah East and two brothers, Aaron Cecil Glenn and Cecil J. Glenn.

The funeral service will be held at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry J. Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.

Visitation will be at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2013 and 11:00 AM until the hour of service on Friday, January 25, 2013.
