Richard L. Carr, 68, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Greene County General Hospital, in Linton, Indiana. He was born November 4, 1944, to Richard L. and Mary P. (Hancock) Carr.

Richard retired in 1999 from the City of Linton Sanitation Department. His hobbies included fishing and selling produce with his buddy Frank at the city park.

Survivors include: one sister, Ruth (Robert) Jerrell of Linton; two nieces, Mary Lynn (Robert) House of Dugger and Tammy Jo (Johnny) Hale of Pleasantville; one great niece, Meghan House of Dugger and two great-nephews, Taylor House of Dugger and Luke Hale of Pleasantville.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Charles R.Carr in 2010.The Carr Family is following Richard's wishes with cremation. There will be no calling hours or funeral service for him. Interment will be at Sassafras Cemetery at a later date.
