Richard Scott Stevenson, 63, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Terre Haute. He was born in Linton on May 4, 1955 to Herbert L. and Wilma A. (Madaris) Stevenson.

Scott was a 1974 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. He was a truck driver with Reith Riley Trucking and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #22 and the Teamster's Local #144.

Scott is survived by his son, James Stevenson and a sister, Linda (William) Bedwell, both of Linton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no public visitation or services. A private graveside service at Fairview Cemetery will be held at a later date.
