Rick R. Duytschaver, 50, of Linton, Indiana, passed away (of natural causes) Monday, August 15, 2011, at Booher Farms, south of Linton. Rick was born on February 9, 1961, in Sullivan, Indiana, to Ronald Ray and Betty L. (Sowka) Wolfe.

Rick served in the U.S. Navy. He was a farm hand for Booher Farms for over 20 years.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Betty and Jack Wolfe of Linton; his son, Tyler Ray Hurd of Elwood, Indiana; his brother, Nick (Sue) Duytschaver of Michigan; his sister, Beth Duytschaver of Linton and his step-sister, Cindy Temple of Davenport, Iowa.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Duytschaver in 2003.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice. Contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.

The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Interment will follow at Sassafras Cemetery in Linton, Indiana.
