Robert W. 'Robbie' Jerrell, 51, of Linton, Indiana, lost his battle with cancer while surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, January 15th, 2015, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.  He was born in Sullivan, Indiana, on December 27th, 1963, to Ronald Leon and Judith A. (Fifer) Jerrell.

Robbie was a member of the Mt. Calvary Methodist Church. He worked in the Dietary Department at Greene County General Hospital. Robbie enjoyed reading books, computers, studying history and he had a great sense of humor. He fought a long, courageous fight and kept his faith through his entire illness. Robbie loved his family and always enjoyed making everyone laugh.

Survivors include his mother, Judy Jerrell of Linton; one sister, Sherrie (Brad) Todd, of Linton; one nephew, Joshua Todd; two nieces, Katelynn and Kelsie Todd and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Jerrell on November 20th, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 19th, 2015, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Rev. David Atkins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, IN.

Family and friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 18th, and from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 19th.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Robbie's memory to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
