Robert Eugene Lankford, 67 of Linton, Indiana, formerly of Albion, Illinois passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on December 11, 1946 in Edwards County, Illinois to Robert Gould and Clara Faye (Saxe) Lankford.

Robert worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart until retiring in 2007. He loved cooking, spending time with his family and listening to gospel and country music.

Survivors include: two sons, Rob (Michele) Lankford of Stone Mountain, GA and Timothy Lankford of Houston, TX; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny (Teresa) Lankford of Albion, IL; two sisters, Tonya Townsend of Linton and Joselyn (Sam) Hearring of Olney, IL.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will follow in Illinois at a later date.
