Robert A. Ringo, 68, of rural Jasonville passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. He was a life-long resident of Jasonville born on September 19, 1939, to Arlie N. and Audrey L. (Green) Ringo.

Robert was a Millwright and had worked for CarpenterA's Local 1080 of Owensboro, Kentucky. He retired in 2003.

Survivors include a daughter, Cherri (Rusty) Farris of Jasonville, IN, a son, Robert (Jennifer) Ringo of Linton, IN, six grandchildren, and a brother, Bill Ringo of Worthington, IN.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

For those who wish to make a memorial contribution, the family has named the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2008, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM with Rev. Sam Bush officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
