Robert E. Sanders, 89, of Linton, IN, passed away Monday, July 7, 2008, at Glenburn Home in Linton, IN. Born in Dugger, IN, on April 18, 1919, he was the son of Lon Millman and Anna (Smith) Sanders. On May 11, 1989, he married Geneva M. (Wiles) Hall. Robert was a machinist and owned/operated a tool and die shop, retiring in 1988.

Survivors include his five step-daughters: Sharon (Bill) Powell, Billie Phillips and Carolyn Goodman all of Linton, Sherry (Roger) King of Bloomfield and Vera (Steve) Madison of Spencer; three step-sons: Carl (Connie) Hall and Donny (Nancy) Hall both of Linton and Rick (Barbara) Hall of Jasonville.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Geneva M. Sanders on October 28, 2007.

Cremation is scheduled and there will be no visitation or funeral service in accordance with Robert's wishes.
