Roberta Nell Barton, 65, of Jasonville, Indiana formerly of DeMotte, passed away Monday, January 8, 2007 at her residence in Jasonville. Born in St. Bernice, Indiana, on August 17, 1941, she was the daughter of Robert Nelson and Alice Lorraine (Price) Green. On October 12, 1959 she married Robert Kenneth Barton. Roberta was housewife and a loving mother. She was a member of the Kniman United Methodist Church in Kniman, Indiana.

Survivors include her husband: Robert Kenneth Barton, a son: Robert (Stacie) Barton of Wheatfield, IN, two daughters: Debra (Steve) Mullins-Cervantes of Brighton, CO, and Nada (Kevin) Nagel of Jasonville, IN, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a sister: Susie M. Hayes of Brownsville, TN, two brothers: Charles R. Green of Highland, IN and Arnold (Raylene) Green of Portage, IN.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Thursday. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 1:00 PM. with Rev. Rony Reyes officiating. Burial will follow at Peavey Cemetery in Jasonville, Indiana.
