Roger L. Miller, 67, of Linton, IN, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Washington, IN, on June 3, 1946, to John Eugene and Georgia (Whitman) Miller. Roger married Ruth Ann Carrico on September 7, 1968.

Roger served in the US Army in Vietnam. He was employed as a truck driver for Elmer Buchta Trucking and retired in 2006. He was a member of the Frank Courtney American Legion Post #22 and the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Miller, son Roger (Sherrie) Miller, Jr. of Bloomfield; daughters: Rachella Clinedinst (Jesse Ross) and Megan Miller, both of Linton, grandchildren: Mylaka (Clinedinst) Simmons, Michael Waskom, Kerri Waskom, Hope Dearing, & Dalton Miller; one grt-grandchild, Gabriele Green; and a brother, Phillip Miller of Montgomery, IN.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Ken Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Linton Fairview Cemetery, with Military Graveside Rites provided by the Frank Courtney American Legion Post #22.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2013, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
