Roger L. Pitcher, 61, of Vincennes, IN, formerly of Sandborn, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010, at Bridgepoint Health Campus in Vincennes. He was born in Linton, IN, on March 25, 1948, to Sherman L. 'Mike' and Martha I. (Lind) Pitcher.

Roger worked at Crane as an electrical engineer, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Elnora Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa M. (Dirk) Reed of Odon; one son, Jason L. (Christy) Pitcher of Petersburg; seven grandchildren, Dane, Madison, Sydnie Reed and Adam, Jessica, Chelsie and Blaine Pitcher. Also surviving are two sisters, Theresa Slaven and Mary Jo Asher, both of Sandborn.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 with a Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Clendening officiating. Interment will follow at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.
