Ronald Leon 'Ron' Jerrell, 73, of Linton, IN, passed away on Thurs., Nov. 20, 2014, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.  He was born in Sandborn, IN, on March 3, 1941, to Lloyd George and Nellie Elizabeth (Newkirk) Jerrell.  Ron married Judith A. Fifer on May 30, 1962.

Ron worked at RCA in Bloomington for 30 years and retired in 1997.  He enjoyed camping and his hobbies included restoring and showing old cars and watching Nascar.  Ron was a member of the Mt. Calvary Methodist Church and attended the Linton Assembly of God.  He loved talking about his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Jerrell; a son, Robbie Jerrell and a daughter, Sherrie (Brad) Todd, both of Linton; 3 grandchildren, Joshua, Katelynn, and Kelsie Todd; 2 brothers, Phillip (Wilma) Jerrell of Bloomington, and Steve (Jennie) Jerrell of TN.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Diana Sue Jerrell.

Funeral services will be conducted on Mon., Nov. 24, 2014, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 1:00 PM, with Rev. David Atkins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sun., Nov., 23rd, and on Mon., Nov. 24th from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
