Ruth A. Cramer, of Madisonville, Kentucky, formerly of Linton, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by loving family in Madisonville, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was born on November 29, 1929 in Vincennes, Indiana to Raymond and Helen (Draim) Laue. Ruth married her first husband, John W. Cary, Sr. on January 20, 1949 and then married Floyd L. Cramer on September 27, 1980.

Ruth was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton and St. Ann's Alter Society. She worked at Hook's Drug Store, Kennedy Auto Parts and then retired in 1991 from Graves Plumbing.

Survivors include: four sons, John (Betty Mayes) Cary and Jim Cary, both of Linton, Joe (Janice) Cary of Vincennes, Jeff (Tina) Cary of Cross City, FL; daughter, Jean (Jack) Watson of Madisonville, KY; two step-sons, Floyd A. (Sherry) Cramer of Jasonville and David (Kim) Cramer of Linton; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and sister, Rita (Bernie) Rich of Hanson, KY.

Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, John W. Cary, Sr.; her second husband, Floyd L. Cramer; brother, Raymond Laue, Jr. and grandson, Joshua Montgomery.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 12, at the St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton with Rev. Biju Thomas officiating.  Ruth will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 11 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton. A Rosary Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
