Sally A. Welsh, 80, of Greenfield, Indiana, formerly of Speedway, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011, at I.U. Med Center in Indianapolis. She was born on March 31, 1931, in Linton, Indiana, to Robert W. and Ethyl (Terhune) Morgan, she was raised by her grandmother, Hattie Morgan. On June 10, 1995, she married Walter Welsh.

Sally was a bookkeeper/secretary at S&W Telephone in Sandborn, retiring 1995. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her step-children, Estella Stiles of Meza, AZ, Michael Welsh of Glendale, AZ, Calvin and Mark Welsh both of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are 10 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great children and one step-great great grandchild. Sally was also survived by many friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter Welsh and one daughter, Debbie Colvin.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2011. A graveside service will be held at Marco Cemetery, 1:00 PM with Rev. Tom Anderson officiating and interment following.
