LINTON- Segundo Rubira, age 87, of Linton formerly of Cuba, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2006, 5:30 PM at his residence. He was born on June 1, 1919, to Emigdio and Amparo (Sarmiento) Rubira. He was a fisherman.
Segundo is survived by two daughters: Mercedes Ax of Linton, IN and Amparo Hernandez of New Jersey; three sons: Ramon Rubira and Lazaro Rubira of New Jersey, and Reynaldo Gil Delgado of Pinar del Rio, Cuba; grandchildren: Darma Lopedera, Tamara Gonzalez, Nelson Rovira, Lazara Rovira, Rita Garcia Rovira, Vilma Rovira, Manuel Rovira, Angela Rovira, Ramon Rovira, Jr., Liset Rovira, and Caridad Ax; two brothers: Juan Rubira and Bienbenido Rubira; two sisters: Almanda Hernandez and Francisca Rubira. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Segundo Rovira and one daughter Victoria Rubira, two sisters Edermira and Georgina Rubira. Entombment will follow the service at the Vista Memorial Garden in Miami Lakes, FL.
