July 30, 1942 – April 15, 2015
Shelba Jean (Aynes) Lehman, 72, of Linton, IN, passed away with her loving family by her side, on April 15, 2015. She was born on July 30, 1942 in Ft. Benning, Georgia to Joshua W. and Lydia Catherine (Johnson) Aynes. Shelba married the love of her life, Donald Paul Lehman Sr. on October 5, 1961.
Shelba was a member of the Linton Assembly of God. She had worked at Keller Aluminum, the DNR and Greene County General Hospital. Shelba enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include: her husband, Donald; sons, Donald (LaVonda) Lehman of Nebraska, Ronald (Rennae) and Randy (Lisa) Lehman, both of Linton; six grandchildren, Arica McAdams, SaVannah Lehman, KaRena Lehman (Taylor) Escamilla, Uriah Lehman, Sydney Lehman and Deanna Propst; five great-grandchildren, Kennedy Bowling, Hayden McAdams, Ian Akers, Connor and Landon Propst; one brother, James (Sue) Aynes of Newberry and two sisters, Dorine Whitman of Lyons and Kathy (Fred) Davis of Linton.
Shelba was preceded in death by; her parents; granddaughter, Dianna Lehman; great-grandson, Seth Ruben and daughter-in-law, Rennae Lehman.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Pastor Arlice Roberts officiating.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.
