Stephen B. Holcomb, 63, of Linton, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born on September 2, 1952 in Linton, Indiana to Ralph E. and Cathern E. (Mathena) Holcomb. Stephen married the love of his life, Charlotte Kay Powell on January 10, 1977.

Stephen was an Indiana National Guard veteran. He was a heavy equipment operator for Scepter Industries with 38 years of service. Stephen enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: his wife, Charlotte; one son, Chris (Cindy) Holcomb; two daughters, Stephanie (Jerry) Pierce and Crystal (Isaac) Beck, all of Linton; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Robert 'Gene' Holcomb of Converse, TX and John Holcomb (Kim) of Linton; one sister, Rae Ann (Darrell) McKinley of Jasonville; several nieces and nephews.

Stephen was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Tom Holcomb; one sister, Connie Hibbard and great-nephew, Kaisen Ray Holcomb.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tues   day, June 28, 2016 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor John Winders officiating. Stephen will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, June 27 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
