Terry L Medlock, 64, of Linton, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the Greene County General Hospital.  He was born in Linton, IN, on November 19, 1950, to Kenneth M. and Altha Laverne (Wright) Medlock.  Terry married Carla L. Bargar on August 19, 1972.

Terry served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He worked at Kroger in Terre Haute for 23 years before retiring in 1995. Terry attended the First United Methodist Church in Linton. His many memberships include, the Retail Clerk Union, Linton Masonic Lodge #560 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, 32nd degree, Zorah Shrine Temple, Greene County Shrine Club and the Sons of the American Legion of Bloomfield. Terry enjoyed working with the transportation unit of the Zorah Shrine Temple, transporting children to various hospitals, receiving awards for nearly one hundred trips during his involvement with this organization.

Survivors include his wife, Carla Medlock; his father, Kenneth Medlock of Linton; one daughter, Tari (D'Lee) Mayfield & Mickey Bland of Linton; one son, Kenton (Destiny) Medlock of Linton; two grandchildren, Chloie Mayfield and K'Lynn Medlock; one brother, Steven R. Medlock and one sister, Peggy D. Flath both of Evansville; mother-in-law, Myrna Bargar; one brother-in-law, Dennis (Daphne) Bargar, sisters-in-law, Denise (Robert) Case and Shelly (Danny) Sweatman; very close friends, Dick and Cindy Smith, Jerry and Janet Hardisty and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Laverne; both paternal and maternal grandparents and his father-in-law, Fred Bargar.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Dick Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, IN with full military honors.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sun., Dec 28th, with a Masonic service to be held at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Mon., Dec 29th from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital of Cincinnati, OH, Research. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
