Thomas L. Howell, 65, of Worthington, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Marion County, Indiana on January 24, 1952 to Russell L. and Doris Louella (England) Howell. Tom married the love of his life, Sherri Kaye (Baker) Howell on June 19, 1993.

Tom was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Worthington American Legion Post #106, the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute and a Life Member of Worthington VFW Post #7117. Tom was an Engineering Technician at Crane Naval Base until his retirement on January 28, 2010.

Survivors include: a daughter, Courtney Latimer (Kirk Williams) of Worthington; three grandchildren, Jaxon, Sydnie and Brynlee; a brother, Robert Howell of Illinois and a sister, Connie Rasener of Whitestown.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sherri Howell and a brother, James Howell.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton. Tom will be laid to rest in Worthington Cemetery following military graveside rites by the Worthington Legion Post #106 and Worthington VFW Post #7117.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 21 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
