N. Tom Jordan, 76, of Dugger, Indiana, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010, at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan, Indiana. He was born in Sullivan, IN, on March 12, 1934, to Martin VanBureaun and Rena Bell (Miracle) Jordan. Tom married Marilyn Sue (Goodman) on March 10, 1951 and they had one son.

Tom was employed at the Coca-Cola Linton Plant for 15 years and at Peabody Coal Company for 10 years, retiring in 1991. He was a former Linton Civitan Member.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; one son, Charles Thomas Jordan of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, David Jordan and Kristina Jordan and four great-grandsons. Also surviving are two brothers, Victor Eugene Jordan of Sullivan, IN and Martin Vernon Jordan of Detroit, MI.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 and on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Interment will follow at the Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, Indiana.
