LINTON- Thomas "Tom" Wall, Jr., age 82, of Linton passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at the Greene County General Hospital. He was born on February 8, 1924 to Thomas and Eunice (Alexander) Wall. He married Doris I. Frederick on October 18, 1946. Tom was a WWII Veteran and was awarded five Bronze Stars. He worked as a Banker with Citizen National Bank for 37 years before retiring on December 30, 1983. He was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church, graduated from Linton Stockton High-School in 1942, BPO Elks #866; 50 year member, Frank Courtney American Legion Post #22; 50 year member, and VFW Post #07118 of Linton. Tom is survived by his wife, Doris I. (Frederick) Wall, daughter; Marsha Ann (Manuel) Barreiro of Bloomington, IN, son Jack R. (Marsha) Wall of Linton, IN, son, Kent F. "Opie" Wall of Linton, IN, and sister, Harriett Ann Yung of Linton, IN. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; Tommy Wall, Rebecca Nagy, Levi Wall, Mary Masters, and Kaleb Wall, and four great-grandchildren. Rev. David Tyra will officiate and burial with military graveside rites will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linton, IN.
