Troy E. Ellis, 45, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Linton on September 19, 1963, to James W. and Saran M. (Stout) Ellis. On July 18, 1981, Troy married Jean M. Ball and they had 7 children.

Troy was an Iron Worker for Zachry, Inc.

Survivors include his wife Jean M. Ellis, daughter Jessica (Broc) Eichhorst of Scott Air Force Base, IL, son Ryan Ellis of Indianapolis, son Roy Ellis of Linton, daughter Sarah (Chad) Powers of Bloomington, sons: Adam Ellis, Jacob Ellis, and Brent Ellis all of Linton, and grandchildren: Kierstin, Saran, and Billie Jo. Also surviving are siblings: sister, Dania Ellis Dominici of Denver, CO, sister Deanna Ellis Frye of Loogootee, IN, brother, Todd Ellis of Colorado Springs, CO, brother, Kent Parisien of Odon, IN, and sister, Dorinda Ellis Smith of Fishers, IN.

Troy was preceded in death by his step-mother Judy Ellis on April 4, 2009.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at the Burris Chapel Cemetery with Pastor David Ball officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August, 24, 2009, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel.
