Tuovia Marie Owen Amerman, 37, of Clay City, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008, at Union Hospital. She was born on February 21, 1971, in Linton, IN, to William Ralph and Marla Sue (Hastings) Owen. She was a mother of one daughter, still at home, and a Social Worker.

Survivors include her daughter, Josie Lynn Amerman; her parents, William Owen of Lyons and Marla Hastings Owen, of Clay City; one brother, William M. Owen of Jasonville; two sisters, Karen S. Cross of Terre Haute and Miranda Owen of Lyons; and one grandfather, Herb Hastings of Sandborn.

Tuovia was preceded in death by her grandmothers and one grandfather.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2008 and from 11:00 AM until the hour of service on Monday, September 22, 2008. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2008. Interment will follow at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana.
