Virginia R. Morrison, 75, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Linton. She was born on November 26, 1937 in Hansford, Kentucky to Delbert E. and Gladys Lee (Barnes) Burdine. Virginia married Charles Edward Morrison on November 2, 1959.

Virginia worked as a Care Giver for the Elderly before her retirement in 2008. She was a member of the Linton First Christian Church. Her life interests were her family and pets.

Survivors include: two sons, Jackie Lee (Toni) Morrison of Live Oak, FL and Jimmy E. Morrison (Betty J. Davis fiance') of Clinton, IL; one daughter: Patty K. (Bernie) Beesley of North Vernon, IN; 2 sisters, Nettie Francis Kinser of Clay City and Anna Mae Jones of Hamilton, OH; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Edward Morrison; two daughters, Nora A. Morrison and Alice Mae Morrison and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 25, 2013, with Pastor Jonathan Ryser officiating. Interment will follow at the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.

Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2013, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Friday at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.
